Mo Knows Best April 2020
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there is no evidence that COV-19 can be spread to humans through use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19, as well as mitigate the growth of pathogens and mosquito breeding grounds. The World Healthy Organization states that controlling water quality is necessary to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases.
When the weather is warm, the pool pump should be running to circulate the chemicals. We recommend it runs 1 hour for every 10 degrees it is outside. Yours service technician either has changed, or will be changing your timer to run at the appropriate times. Any questions please call 520-325-6427.
